The international taste winner of the Fine Water Society.
When our mountain spring was discovered by chance in 2019, we had no idea that the excellent taste of our water would have everything it takes to become a multiple international gold medalist in the most important blind tastings of the Fine Water Society:
2021 Gold for “still” in Bled, Slovenia
2022 Gold for “sparkling” and “still” in Los Angeles, USA.
Sustainably produced in small quantities. Each bottle is individually checked and the freshness seal is applied by hand.
The water comes from a natural spring on the east side of the Gaisberg, Salzburg's local mountain, at 860 m above sea level. The Gaisberg is considered a mountain of strength recognized by the ancestors and was valued in mythical times as a source of spirit and spirituality. The water is drawn from a depth of about 60 meters.
The water is bottled directly at the source using traditional methods. The Gaisberg is bottled by hand in a small mobile plant in compliance with the highest hygiene criteria and without fixed industrial production facilities. This labor-intensive process was chosen out of a desire to share a natural product in its natural state with the world.
The people behind Gaisberg are proud of the quality, regionality and sustainability of the water and only bottle it in limited quantities. The Salzburg region regularly analyses the water and guarantees that the product comes from Salzburg. In addition, the quality of Gaisberg water is monitored and certified by two independent institutes.
