Activated and inspired - for a world without thirst! Viva con Agua de St. Pauli e. V. is a development policy non-profit organization founded in 2006 with headquarters in Hamburg-St. Pauli.

Drinking water shortages are one of the biggest social problems of the 21st century. One billion people worldwide have no access to clean drinking water.
For Viva con Agua, this fact motivates them to act to give people safe access to clean drinking water. That is why the majority of the profits from the sale of Viva con Agua spring water are permanently invested in concrete and long-term drinking water projects run by Viva con Agua. The vision:
VIVA CON AGUA is committed to improving the supply of drinking water and the availability of sanitation facilities in countries in the global south. The open network thrives on the individual initiative of countless crews active in over 50 German cities. The largest partner in projects in the global south is Welthungerhilfe. From 2009 onwards, supporters also developed in Switzerland, Spain, Austria, the Netherlands and Uganda.
In the first few years, over 2 million euros in donations were collected. The water projects financed with this money improved the living conditions of over 200,000 people.
Viva con Agua is supported by FC St. Pauli and well-known artists such as Gentleman, Clueso, Maeckes, Marteria, Schandmaul, Wir sind Helden and Bela B, who have all given benefit concerts in support of Viva con Agua's projects.
The history:
In 2005, Benjamin Adrion, then FC St. Pauli player, founded the initiative together with Welthungerhilfe after he had experienced the problematic drinking water supply in Cuba during a winter training camp. The first Viva con Agua project therefore began in Havana, where water dispensers were set up in 153 kindergartens and 4 sports boarding schools to provide clean drinking water. After Cuba, the initiative became active in numerous other countries (currently 15 project countries), especially in East Africa.
The registered association Viva con Agua de Sankt Pauli was founded in 2006 and received a consulting grant from Startsocial in the year of its founding and was subsequently awarded the national winner. Just three years later, Benjamin Adrion was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit for his commitment.
The Viva con Agua Foundation was established in 2010. Its statutory purpose is to promote development cooperation and environmental protection, public health care, youth welfare and sports. One of the founding donors was Bela B.
Viva con Agua is a member of the Social Entrepreneurship Network Germany.
The source:
Viva con Agua spring water comes from a pollutant-free, underground reservoir and impresses with its special purity and quality. Due to the low sodium content, it is also particularly suitable for the preparation of baby food and has an unmistakably gentle taste.
Seriously, Viva con Agua doesn't make much of a fuss about its own water, but it really is super delicious water, no question about it!
The water:
Viva con Agua Wasser GmbH, founded at the end of 2010, sells bottled mineral water under the Viva con Agua brand. The water is bottled at the Husum mineral spring, the Viva con Agua spring in Husum.
Each bottle draws attention to the vision of “water for all” and at the same time, as a licensed product, generates funds for the charitable work of Viva con Agua. The decision to purchase this product therefore has a positive impact on the way to a world without thirst!
Heidelberg/Heilbronn region:
Viva con Agua mineral water is also available in our stores, so anyone in the region who wants to switch to socially produced water can do so through us. In addition to radius99, we also offer a regional delivery service for VIVA CON AGUA. Just get in touch.
