The background:
APSU was founded over 10 years ago in 2011 by three visionaries from the Magallanes region in Chile.
The idea was to develop an ultra-mobile system to harvest and bottle water from pristine springs in the heart of Patagonia.
This innovation was necessary in order to find sources that are simply unreachable using standard filling processes and modern methods. This was the only way it was clear that such hidden treasures of nature could be made accessible and accessible.
The company's mission was focused on three areas until January 2022.
Firstly, the extraction of exceptional and exclusive waters in small-batch, handcrafted production.
Secondly, to do it in an environmentally friendly and sustainable way, so as not to leave any trace of human presence during the process.
Third: to generate donations to support environmental and social projects in the Magallanes region.
The source:
The source of APSU is glacial water from the Gran Campo Nevado in subantarctic Chilean Patagonia.
The glacier forms various streams that flow into the Pacific Ocean, particularly Skyring Sound.
Using their mobile system, they select remote rivers and harvest water from free-flowing sources of glacial water before it disappears into the Pacific Ocean.
First harvest:
In January 2022 the time had come and Francesco Giangrandi and his team were able to bottle their water for the first time after years of preparation and planning. We at Fine Liquids are proud that this also happened under our “flag”. We are also pleased to be the exclusive distributor for Europe and the United Kingdom.
The water:
Pristine glacier water, light and fresh in taste. A tailor-made experience for the discerning palate. The water is harvested at a cold 4° Celsius, and you should taste this water just once at exactly this temperature. The experience is magnificent.
Design:
The bottle is individually made and has a unique (beautiful) shape, the logo and labeling themselves are just as unusual and interesting for a water. It is like a true statement and brings luxury and exclusivity at its finest to every table.
