Excellent, high-quality water from the artesian spring of CaNa in the pristine nature of the Goričko Landscape Park in Slovenia.
Highly mineralized water with a globally unique ratio of calcium and sodium:
340 mg/l calcium and only 8.6 mg/l sodium. Therefore, CaNa tells the story of the extraordinary composition of the elements Ca/Na in this special water.
The history:
As early as 1910, the area of today's spring was home to the "Királyi forrás" or "King's Spring", and the name of the fine water is derived from this.
A bottling plant was built before the Second World War.
Based on the knowledge of mineral water analyses in the Nuskova region, active work on the project began again in 2007. The redevelopment of the artesian spring in the midst of untouched nature in the Goričko Landscape Park in Prekmurje was then pushed forward in May 2008. The mineral water bottling plant was put into operation in 2016.
CANA is now bottled in an old school building, which has been renovated and preserved and restored to its former glory. The facility has a technologically advanced line for bottling mineral water. In the future, a modern drinking hall with an indigenous touch will also be built, where visitors can taste the unique CANA ROYAL WATER directly from the source.

Nowadays, you often hear that water has become a kind of "new wine". All water is not just water, but has many functions and is becoming increasingly important. Waters differ in taste and mineral content. They are already listed on their own water menus in better restaurants and are an excellent alternative to alcohol.
Cana is also the city in Israel where Jesus turned water into wine during the wedding at Cana, a wonderful anecdote.

CANA Royal Water is available in 3 sparkling variants, which is royal in itself.
Gently sparkling , is wonderfully finely sparkling, a barely noticeable, wonderfully light effervescence. Almost a still water with a pleasant carbonic acid note (CO² 0.8 mg / l). Wonderfully still, spherical, almost not sour, with a sunny aftertaste and a slightly salty aftertaste. Overall, you can taste the hydrogen carbonate of 1100 mg / l most clearly in this version. Carbonated is most similar to our German medium water, a wonderfully balanced carbonated water whose extremely high mineral content is not even remotely noticeable. Carbonic acid is present, but always remains unobtrusive (CO² 2.5mg / l). (Transparent label)
Strong is at the upper limit with a carbon dioxide content of 3.5 mg/l and the large bubbles are clearly evident and dominate the spectrum. Even the aftertaste is based on the carbon dioxide, but is hardly sour, salty or intrusive, thus fully showing off its outstanding quality. A clear water for connoisseurs and friends of upscale soda water.
Overall, CANA has a mild aftertaste and leaves a pleasantly soft mouthfeel as well as a pleasantly stimulated, invigorated and free tongue. It cleanses and opens the taste buds naturally and pleasantly.
