About SAAB:
The Lebanese fashion designer Elie Saab, whose clothes have already been presented on countless red carpets, who presents his collections during Paris Fashion Week, designed the evian special edition 2014. In his work for famous women from around the world, Elie attaches great importance to elegance, simplicity and glamor . He now packed exactly these aspects into the bottle design.

While Evian has made a name for itself with its natural purity since 1826, Elie Saab stands for timeless, elegant design, fine materials and elaborate decorations. The Saab-typical tip can also be found on the Evian bottle: in puristic white, it wraps itself elegantly around the clear glass body and draws attention to its feminine contours. The final bottle creation symbolizes the purity and elegance that Elie Saab and Evian are equally known for.

Pure elegance, purity and an inimitable taste are characteristic of evian. The natural, still mineral water comes from the Cachat spring in Évian-les-Bains, a spa town in the French Alps. The spring is surrounded by a 70,000 hectare nature reserve and no external influences can falsify the purity of evian. Filtered through the rocks of the French Alps for 15 years, the low-sodium evian offers a naturally pure taste experience thanks to its balanced mineral content. It is the most drunk mineral water in the world.

ABOUT the vision

At the 2015 UN climate conference in Paris, evian set itself the goal of becoming CO2-neutral by 2017. An important milestone on this path was the conversion of the plant in Evian-les-Bains. From now on, the new plant will make an important contribution to the overriding goal of the brand.

The climate neutrality of the plant was achieved through a variety of interlocking measures, such as the commissioning of a biogas plant. The plant now obtains all of its own energy from this newly built facility.

The area of ​​the modernized plant amounts to a total of 130,000 square meters. Among other things, ten new production lines and one of the largest private train stations in France are located on this site.

The Carbon Trust certifies that the plant is carbon neutral. By providing advice and controlling, the company helps other companies, governments and organizations to reduce their CO2 emissions and operate more resource-efficiently.
