The history:
The "Királyi forrás" or "King's Spring" was located in the area of today's spring as early as 1910, which is also where the name of the fine water comes from.
A bottling plant was built before the Second World War.
Based on the knowledge of mineral water analyses in the Nuskova region, the project was actively worked on again in 2007. The new development of the artesian spring in the middle of untouched nature in the Goričko Landscape Park in Prekmurje was then driven forward in May 2008. The mineral water filling plant was put into operation in 2016.
CANA is now bottled in an old school building. This has been renovated, preserved and restored to its former glory. The plant has a technologically advanced line for bottling mineral water. In the future, a modern drinking hall with an autochthonous touch is also to be built, where visitors can taste the unique CANA ROYAL WATER directly from the source.

Nowadays, we often hear that water has become a kind of "new wine". Water is not just water, it has many functions and is becoming increasingly important. Waters differ in taste and mineral content. They are already listed on separate water menus in better restaurants and are an excellent alternative to alcohol.
Incidentally, Cana is also the town in Israel where Jesus turned water into wine during the wedding at Cana, a wonderful anecdote.

CANA Royal Water is offered in 3 sparkling versions, which is already royal in itself. If you select still here in the article, you will receive the gently sparkling version.
Gently sparkling, wonderfully fine bubbles, a barely perceptible, wonderfully light effervescence. Almost a still water with a pleasant hint of carbonic acid (CO² 0.8 mg / l). Wonderfully still, spherical, almost to non-acidic, sunny and slightly salty in the aftertaste. Overall, you can taste the bicarbonate of 1100 mg / l most clearly in this version. (White label)
Carbonated comes closest to our German medium water, a wonderfully balanced carbonated water whose extremely high mineralization is not even hinted at. Carbonic acid is present, but always remains unobtrusive (CO² 2.5mg / l). (Transparent label)
With a carbon dioxide content of 3.5 mg / l, Strong is at the upper end of the spectrum and the large-pearl fizz is already clearly evident here and dominates the spectrum. Even the aftertaste is based on the carbonic acid, but is hardly more sour, salty or intrusive and thus fully demonstrates its outstanding quality. A clear water for connoisseurs and friends of upmarket soda water.
Overall, CANA has a mild finish in the mouth and leaves a pleasantly soft mouthfeel as well as a pleasantly stimulated, revitalized and free tongue. It cleanses and opens the taste buds naturally and pleasantly.
