Perrier: Long history & tradition

Perrier is one of the world's best-known brands of mineral water. The water is characterized by its light sparkle, which clearly distinguishes it from other products. In 1761, Dr. Louis Perrier discovered a spring near a small French village. After marketing the water for a few years, his successor began bottling the water in 1863. The Perrier success story began and the water was quickly exported all over the world. Today, Perrier is one of the best-known and most important brands of mineral water, which we appreciate for its unique taste.

Spring in volcanic region

The spring from which Perrier draws its water is located near the French village of Vergeze. This is a volcanic region where water with a particularly high mineral content springs up. Perrier Carbonated Water therefore contains calcium, magnesium and fluoride, and also has a remarkably high nitrate content. The pH value of the water is acidic. This gives Perrier water its unique taste, which is remarkably light. We therefore recommend serving the water with dessert, for example, and paying attention to the interaction of the individual components. Carbon dioxide is then added to it using a special system developed by the company. This gives Perrier fines bubbles a fine sparkle that is typical of the brand and clearly distinguishes it from other waters. We offer Perrier fines bubbles in 750 ml and 500 ml sizes. Both are served in glass bottles and carefully packaged by us for transportation. The brand is now world-famous and is drunk by many famous personalities. About water sommelier Pat Eckert

Pat Eckert is a passionate water sommelier and owner of Fine Liquids, an international water distribution, consulting and tasting company. Water is commonplace for all of us and yet so special. Just like an excellent wine, water can only unfold its full effect after careful selection. At Fine Liquids, we carry a globally unique portfolio of great water brands and ship almost anywhere in the world.

Pat has been working intensively with water since 2010, took over Fine Liquids in 2018 and expanded the business to the UK in 2020. Together with Milin Patel, he founded the Fine Liquids Watershop and the Fine Liquids Art Gallery in London in 2021. In 2022, he trained as a certified water sommelier and took part in the BLED Water Festival. Pat organized numerous water tastings in Europe and the UK and founded his own fine water brand "Aqa Finelli" in 2023.

As a water sommelier, Pat advises hotels and restaurants on the best choice of water and accompanying water menus. A water tasting is an extraordinary experience that can be enjoyed on a small scale or in a suitable setting. Pat creates an unforgettable setting, combined with good entertainment.

Since 2024, Pat has been the official water sommelier for the Selters brand and is working on opening his water museum, which will exhibit the world's largest collection of water bottles. His work has been recognized in international media and TV shows such as ABC and Pro7 Galileo. He is currently focusing on optimizing the logistics and distribution of Fine Waters, among other things.
