LOFOTEN WATER - Made by nature 68°N
Lofoten Arctic Water is a premium brand of mineral water from nature's paradise, the Lofoten Islands in the north of Norway.
One of the purest and tastiest natural drinking waters in the world, created by nature.
In nature, nature is the ingredient. Lofoten is the pure Arctic natural water that flows down the Lofoten Islands in a natural valley that is constantly renewed by glacier melt, snow and Arctic rain. With a TDS value of less than 20 for the last 10 years, Lofoten water comes from an incredibly stable source.
The Lofoten Islands lie between the 68th and 69th parallel north of the Arctic Circle. The archipelago forms a high wall of mountains and cliffs, creating a dreamlike landscape of rugged mountain peaks jutting straight out of the sea. The land of the Northern Lights and the midnight sun is famous for its natural beauty, fresh air, pure water, untouched nature and breathtaking mountain landscapes contrasting with deep fjords, sheltered bays and pristine coastlines.
Close your eyes and imagine a place where the summer sun never sets, where fields of flowers shimmer in the light of the deep midnight sun and the purple evening sky is reflected in mirror-smooth lakes. The light and nature on the Lofoten Islands are magical, like something from another world.
The source
Imagine yourself far north, on the Arctic islands of Lofoten, far away from civilization, hiking in the mountains that take you back to the beginnings of life. The Lofoten Islands are of Precambrian origin and are 3.5 billion years old. They are among the oldest mountains on earth.
The feeling of freedom to drink water like Lofoten is only possible in a few places on earth today
The spring is in fact the only water on the premium market that is of such high quality and purity before any filtering or distillation, with a TDS value below 30, one of the most stable water sources on the planet.
In Lofoten, you can still drink pure, clean fresh water directly from mountain lakes, as was the case thousands of years ago. The source of Lofoten's Arctic water is so pure that it does not need to be filtered or distilled, yet it is of high quality and purity. It is one of the purest and tastiest natural drinking waters in the world.
The design
The Lofoten water bottle has a clean, sculptural design, with the cap reflecting the sharp angles of the mountain peaks against the bluest of Lofoten skies, while the crystal clear super flint glass bottle evokes a sense of the pure Arctic environment of the islands. High quality, with engraved base.
The design reflects the beautifying and unique Lofoten Islands with their untouched landscape of rugged mountain peaks, deep fjords and sheltered bays.
Capturing and articulating the purity and premium character of Lofoten Water required a structural design and graphic expression that stands out from any other bottle on the market, with a sleek body of horizontal lines and delicate shoulders, and contrasting angles of a cap inspired by the mountain peaks of Lofoten. Materiality and visual identity are interwoven - the super flint glass bottle speaks of a pristine Arctic environment, further emphasized by the lack of graphic flourishes and accentuated by the engraved lettering on the base.
The cap captures the deep blue of the Arctic sky, the endless white of the snow during the winter season, while the brand identity in color, shape, type and phrase expresses a northern origin, an icy, cold climate and high quality.
