ROI is incomparable. No other mineral water in the world can boast such naturally created properties. Nevertheless, the famous water from Rogaška Slatina in Slovenia is embedded in centuries of history.
The spring itself is over 8000 years old and its unique geological conditions create the mineral water rich in magnesium on our planet.
According to mythology, on Apollo's instruction, the winged horse Pegasus hit the ground with his hoof in Rogaška, Slovenia, and thus opened the spring. At that solemn moment Apollo spoke:
“This is where the source of health and the true power of the gods arise. Drink from this Roitschocrene spring instead of that of Hippocrene. "
The archives of the local parish church show that around the year 1300 it was already known that the spring water was conducive to a longer lifespan. The first chemical analysis of water was presented by Leonhard Thurneysser in his work Pison in 1572. According to legend, in 1665 Count PetarZrinski drank the water during his hunt, which miraculously cured his ailments and led him to present ROI the entire European royal family. In 1680, Dr. Paul de Sorbait, court doctor, professor of the medical faculty Vienna and personal doctor of Emperor Leopold I and Empress Eleonor the miraculous water. He described it in his book Praxis Medicae and healed his patients until full recovery with this water without further use of drugs and achieved international fame. Because of its amazing healing effects, he gave the Slovenian water the name "God Potion", in English "The God Potion".
Joannes Benedict Gründel wrote the first and only monograph on water in Europe as early as 1687, of course the text only dealt with ROI .
A good hundred years later, and thus still 200 years before our time, the price for a single bottle ROI equivalent of € 12 or more. Due to the high price, counterfeits came onto the market, so that in 1774 Empress Maria Theresia decreed that every bottle from Rogaška should be given a label, including the year of filling and an annually changing symbol. The price also had to be published in the Viennese newspapers in order to get the wild growth under control.
Let's get a little closer to the present and look to Chicago, where the water was awarded a quality medal at the world exhibition in 1893 and named the third best water in the world alongside Selters and Vichy.

The springs are located in the most tectonically diverse areas of Slovenia and have three regional faults: the Alps, the Dinaric Alps and the Pannonia Basin. The oldest rock layer is around 285 million years old.
This unique geological hydrogeological interplay brings the extremely special mineral water up from a depth of 300 meters, enriched with magnesium, calcium, sulfates and bicarbonates.
Using radiocarbon dating, the artesian spring water is estimated to be around 8,000 years old, and the naturally carbonated water rises to the surface without the aid of pumps, powered by the carbon dioxide it contains.
In 1721, Charles VI, Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire, granted the Vienna Pharmacists' Association the concession to use the spring, combined with the first technical intervention, the spring took on the appearance of a well.
Ferdinand Attems bought the land around the springs in 1803 and founded the spa and with it the Rogaška Spa Resort.
The unique ROI water offers different health effects depending on how you drink it. Drink it quickly and warm to speed up bowel activity or slow and cool to increase the absorption of minerals. Since magnesium is responsible for regulating the entire nervous and muscle system, the mineral water rich in magnesium in the world is the ideal addition to an upscale lifestyle with many advantages when consumed in moderation. Excessive ROI can have a laxative effect.

With the amendment of Roitschocrene to ROI , there was also a new philosophy with regard to design and handling of history. In 2011 one simply recognized what one was actually dealing with, and so it happened that year after year one received the prestigious awards for design and taste from the FINE WATER SOCIETY and other institutions.
ROI is offered exclusively by FINE LIQUIDS in Germany and Europe. The water is incredibly in demand and yet strictly limited to protect the spring. FINE LIQUIDS is thus the first dealer in Europe to even offer water.
