Magnificat Azores water
Artesian volcanic water from the Azores.
Premium water | FINE WATER from Portugal
The Azores archipelago is shielded far out in the North Atlantic and is well insulated from any human-made environmental influences. MAGNIFICAT 's source is located on the island of St. Miguel in a unique aquifer deep inside and around the Furnas volcanic complex with 6 volcanoes in the east of the island. An immense volume of naturally purified still and sparkling water is preserved and protected from all planetary pollution.
MAGNIFICAT means MAGNIFICAT "My soul enlarges the Lord" in Latin and has its origins in the 18th century. The name was deliberately chosen to baptize the artesian water that gushes up from the sleeping volcano Furnas by itself.
MAGNIFICAT is a real gift from nature and it demands respect and conservation. What Renova does as the producer of MAGNIFICAT , you do well and successfully. Natural water, protected for thousands of years, without sterilization, without additives.
MAGNIFICAT 's identity is closely linked to its source, the Furnas volcano in the Azores.
MAGNIFICAT rises under the volcano at a depth of almost 90 meters and naturally slightly carbonized at a temperature of 6-8 ° C. This process, which is completely natural and stable all year round, produces ultra-smooth and persistently fine carbonic acid bubbles.
For naturally carbonated water, with only 241 mg / l TDS / total mineral residue it is also a very light and almost sulfate-free water. More than a third of its mineralization is naturally dissolved silica (silicon dioxide), a compound that has been scientifically proven to be extremely beneficial for health on many levels, especially for the regeneration of human tissue walls such as the brain, heart, liver, arteries, cartilage and bones . One of the few ways the human body can absorb silica is through natural water dissolution.
A nitrate-free water with a special silica content. Silicic acid reduces the development of dementia, it keeps nails, teeth, hair and skin healthy and fresh.
The water is filtered through various layers of volcanic rock and "sees" daylight for the first time in thousands of years when it is bottled at the source. In the immediate vicinity there are 40 other springs, an astonishing number of underground reservoirs, as well as some calderas, hot water springs with a temperature of 40 ° C to 100 ° C.
The Water Sommelier Union:
A cloud of fine bubbles pours through the glass to the surface, where most of the bubbles dissolve, leaving some like silver pearls.
MAGNIFICAT hits the lips with a very soft and mild, almost sweet character and a clear and fresh impression. The natural carbon dioxide shows up quickly as a soft and creamy sparkle that envelops the tongue.
In the aftertaste it leaves a refreshing and lively mouthfeel for the discerning palate with its fine bubbly acidity and a slightly dry finish.
The ideal drinking temperature is 14/15 ° C.
