Water from a depth of 400 meters from the mighty BAIKAL lake.
Baikal water is extracted from the lake from a depth of 400 meters. This water was sacred to its first inhabitants, the Bourliates, of Mongolian origin.
Lake Baikal is the sixth largest lake in the world with a length of 636 km and a width of up to 79 km and an area of just over 31 thousand square kilometers.
With a depth of up to 1,642 meters, it is also the deepest lake in the world and its water volume is as large as the entire Baltic Sea or the 5 large North American lakes combined (Lake Superior, Lake Michigan, Lake Huron, Lake Herié and Lake Ontario). This represents about 20% of the world's freshwater volume retained in lakes and rivers.
The oxygen dissolved in Lake Baikal gives the water a fresh taste and the slight mineralization is an incomparable advantage over other waters. Civilization and man had no influence on the BAIKAL ecosystem, and the purity of the water of the great lake reaches us in its original form.
When studying Baikal, scientists have found that at a depth between 400 and 500 meters, there is a relic of pure water with special properties. This layer does not mix with others, it is characterized by a constant composition and oxygen saturation.
