Gerolstein is located in the beautiful Vulkaneifel.

Gerolsteiner mineral water owes its special taste to the geological conditions at the source in the Vulkaneifel. Especially in the Gerolstein region, carbonic acid of volcanic origin meets dolomite rock rich in calcium and magnesium. This creates water that is rich in minerals, but tastes pleasantly neutral and refreshing despite its high overall mineralization.

Gerolsteiner mineral water comes from a depth of up to 250 meters and takes 50 to 100 years to be extracted.

The special thing about Gerolsteiner Naturell:

Gerolsteiner Naturell comes from a particularly gentle spring in the Vulkaneifel and is therefore lighter mineralized than Gerolsteiner Sprudel. Gerolsteiner Naturell naturally contains 807 mg of minerals per liter.

Each liter of Gerolsteiner Naturell contains more than 577 mg hydrogen carbonate. Mineral waters that have passed through layers of limestone in their source area contain a particularly large number of natural ingredients. Dolomite – a type of limestone – is typical of the region around Gerolstein in the Vulkaneifel. The hydrogen carbonate ensures a pleasantly neutral taste thanks to its natural acid-neutralizing effect.

Thanks to its low sodium content of just 17 mg per liter, Gerolsteiner Naturell is ideal for a low-sodium diet.

International:
As the largest mineral water exporter in Germany, Gerolsteiner sells its products worldwide. The neighboring Benelux countries are particularly important export countries. In addition, the mineral water is sold internationally, primarily in the USA, Japan and South Korea. In total, Gerolsteiner is exported to around 35 countries around the world.
