Elie Saab x Evian: Water meets Fashion

ELIE SAAB is known for making women look and feel feminine through delicate materials and draping, transferring the aesthetic to evian. With the "Ode to Purity" theme, the bottle was also wrapped in ELIE SAAB's signature perforated pattern, which emphasizes the silhouette of the bottle while its dresses accentuate the female figure.

ELIE SAAB has been worn by royalty, dignitaries and celebrities around the world and exhibited at the Four Seasons in Paris. With evian, ELIE SAAB has created a masterpiece of which very few are still available.

Previous collaborations include Issey Miyake, Paul Smith, Christian Lacroix , Courrège, Diane von Fürstenburg and now ELIE SAAB.

About SAAB:
The Lebanese fashion designer Elie Saab, whose clothes have been presented on countless red carpets and who presents his collections during Paris Fashion Week, has designed the evian special edition 2014. In his work for famous ladies of this world, Elie attaches great importance to elegance, simplicity and glamour. He has now incorporated precisely these aspects into the bottle design.

While Evian has made a name for itself with its natural purity since 1826, Elie Saab stands for timeless, elegant design, fine materials and elaborate decorations. The Saab-typical lace can also be found on the Evian bottle: it elegantly wraps around the clear glass body in purist white and highlights its feminine contours. The final bottle creation symbolizes the purity and elegance for which Elie Saab and Evian are equally renowned.

The design:
Stars such as Katy Perry, Dakota Fanning and Emma Watson love the elegant dresses by Elie Saab. Floral patterns and a pure design with attention to detail.

With this elegance, Elie Saab naturally flatters the glass bottle and emphasizes its feminine contours.

Let's take a closer look at the bottle. The delicate lace dress is engraved into the bottle. But there are no colors or exaggerated shapes and patterns. Less is more here. The only splash of color is represented by the evian lettering.

ABOUT evian

Pure elegance, purity and an inimitable taste are characteristic of evian. The natural, still mineral water comes from the Cachat spring in Évian-les-Bains, a spa resort in the French Alps. The spring is surrounded by a 70,000-hectare nature reserve and no external influences can adulterate the purity of evian. Filtered for 15 years through the rock of the French Alps, the low-sodium evian offers a naturally pure taste experience thanks to its balanced mineralization. It is the most consumed mineral water in the world.

ABOUT the vision

As part of the 2015 UN Climate Change Conference in Paris, evian has set itself the goal of becoming CO2-neutral by 2017. An important milestone on this path was the conversion of the plant in Evian-les-Bains. The new plant is now making an important contribution to the brand's overarching goal.

The plant's climate neutrality was achieved through a number of interlinked measures, such as the commissioning of a biogas plant. The plant now obtains all of its own energy from this newly built plant.

The modernized plant covers a total area of 130,000 square meters. The site includes ten new production lines and one of the largest private railroad stations in France.

The plant's CO2 neutrality is certified by the Carbon Trust. The company helps other companies, governments and organizations to reduce their CO2 emissions and operate in a more resource-conserving manner through consulting and controlling.
