Frucade orange fruit juice lemonade
Adalbert Conrads and Karl Grün founded the company "Fruco" in 1947, which specialized in the trade and repair of beverage bottling plants and began producing base materials and essences for soft drinks in 1952. In 1953, "Frucade Orangenfruchtsaftlimonade" was launched on the market, the only one to contain 10% fruit juice.
The original Frucade molded bottle was characteristic of Frucade. It has since been replaced in Germany by the standardized 0.5 l NRW white glass bottle for technical filling reasons. In Austria, however, the Frucade molded bottle is still in use today.
The Frucade brand was not registered with the Patent Office with international protection until 1956.
The range has developed differently in Austria and Germany over time. In Austria, the original "Frucade Orangenfruchtsaftlimonade" is still on the market. In Germany, it is again.
The advertising slogan in Austria was: "So much fruit is unbelievable." In Germany it was "Frucade. The home lemonade."
